BENCH · CHANGELOG
Raise an agreement, fill it in, then send it.

IMPROVED
Agreements is a page everyone can open
Until now the Agreements page only existed for people who already had one — a link the studio sent you could land on a page that said it wasn't there. Every signed-in person now has Agreements in their nav, with tabs that read zero until something is raised for them. What you see is still only yours.

A decision can change hands. The owner, or a space admin, picks a new owner from the decision page; the handover is recorded in the action log.
Write a brief knows about the pull request. The catch-up brief already read shared comments and activity; it now also reads any linked pull request — title, description and the files it touches — when Bench is connected to GitHub.
Next in the task drawer moves everything. Pressing Next swapped the task but left the side rail — including a brief you had just written — showing the previous one until you reloaded.

NEW
Raise an agreement from a template
A scope of work, a contractor services agreement and an NDA now come ready to fill in — the same documents the studio has been sending by hand, with every {placeholder} where a name, date or fee belongs. Pick one, it becomes a doc in the space, and you raise it to one person. They open exactly the version you raised, read-only, however much the doc moves afterwards.
ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
Sent back means a revision, not an edit. When someone requests changes, their note sits on the agreement and the studio raises a revision from the same doc; the old one is marked superseded, and the chain is kept.
Your agreements have tabs. All, waiting on you, accepted, declined, changes requested and signed — with counts, and a notification lands on the tab that holds the answer.
A contract you were granted opens. A doc raised straight from a template was never published, and a client could not open a space-level doc at all; both are fixed, and a private doc's earlier versions are now as private as its current one.

NEW
Base camp tells you what is blocking
Home now opens with the decisions waiting on you — each one with how long it has been waiting and a Decide menu that runs the verdict right there — then your assigned work grouped by urgency. The rail carries Create, what changed since you left, what settled this week and this month's points, so the page answers the question you opened it with instead of listing everything you own.
ALSO IN THIS RELEASE
One board per project. Sub-boards are gone. A project has one live board; when it is done you archive it and start fresh, carrying open work across or finalising it into a done status.
Docs got a proper editor. Headings, tables, choice blocks, task embeds with live search, a slash menu for everything else, margin comments anchored to the text you selected, and templates for the first page.
Raise a contract from a doc. A space owner can turn any doc into an agreement for a named person; the recipient sees only the frozen version they were sent.
Bench settings is one place. Operations, runtime errors, feature flags, accounts, members and the estimate rubric share one settings shell with a grouped side nav, and each page reads as a sentence about what needs doing.
Estimates are explained, not asserted. Every estimate shows the shape and impact it was built from, and the rubric behind those two numbers is readable by anyone in the space.
Mobile holds together. Nothing overflows at 390px any more: the dock stays put with the keyboard open, sheets and modals take focus when they open, and the doc header no longer needs a sideways scroll.
Accent is yours, not the project's. The colour you pick in settings follows you everywhere; a project can no longer override it.
